NBA Creators presented by Microsoft Surface is a design-focused program that leverages the NBA and Microsoft’s platforms to elevate and increase exposure of Canadian illustrators and graphic designers who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic or Latinx. As 1 of the 5 BIPOC Canadian creatives selected through a comprehensive portfolio review by the NBA, Microsoft, OCAD University and The Standard, I was commissioned by the NBA to create promotional designs for key events across the 2025 NBA Calendar using the Microsoft Surface Pro PC.
These designs were distributed across NBA and Microsoft socials. As I used the PC, I provided product feedback to Microsoft technicians regarding my experience with the Surface Pro and its CoPilot+ features. I was also the youngest selectee in program history.
